Mastered Skills (most kids can do)
• Stands while holding onto something
yes...wanting to do that all the time..especially at the living room table cos there's the remote control, the newspapers...
• Jabbers or combines syllables
yes...always in a sing-song manner. but she still seems to only talk in vowels.
• Understands object permanence
i think so...since she plays peek-a-boo with us.
Emerging Skills (half of kids can do)
• Cruises while holding onto furniture
somewhat..i should give her more practice eh?
• Drinks from a sippy cup
oh dear no...we haven't given her much practice for that..tho she enjoys chewing the sippy cup sprout cos it's rubber
• Eats with fingers
yeaps...her corn rings, and my breakfast..i'll peel off bread for her to pick from my hand to eat
• Bangs objects together
have you seen her bang the toys on the exersaucer. she gets quite a kick out of it...and with the plastic cups and bowls i give her to play with
Advanced Skills (a few kids can do)
• Plays patty-cake and peek-a-boo
i don't play patty-cake with her lah...but she doesn't clap her hands yet. she does hold her hands together tho that doesn't count as clapping her hands. peek-a-boo, definitely. photos next time :P
• Says "mama" and "dada" to the correct parent
gee..she doesn't even say mama or dada...just 'eh' or 'ay'
